MARS Project Space is a non-profit art space founded by artists Marius Engh and Lars Monrad Vaage in autumn 2018. MARS is a platform for contemporary art experimentation, where the artists are provided a concentrated stay to make an exhibition. MARS is focusing on two exhibition projects per year. They fall on equinox - the two times a year when day and night are of equal length all over the globe. MARS is located at Ål train station. Ål is situated in the middle of Norway between Bergen and Oslo. Here the trains meet and go in both directions - east and west.
